Site of the month:

March 2013: The Welly Shop -as winter continues to wear on with snow in many parts of the country, we think this is a must see resource, with wellington boots of every shape size and colour, and with gift ideas from £15

Past featured sites of the month -every month we will select and feature a website of particular value -it might be simply a very well designed website, or it maybe one that has particular emphasis on the environment and sustainability.

Do you grow your own fruit, veg and flowers?
Do you know wha to do with them?
Are you the complete kitchen gardener?

We are looking for pairs who have the skills and the dedication to compete to be the nation's best kitchen gardener. Someone who can cultivate the perfect carrot, make their green tomatoes into award winning chutney and turn their dahlias and sweet peas into floral arrangements fit for a Queen.
If you have the skills to compete and are interested in featuring in our series, please contact or call 0207 907 3433 for an application form.
The deadline for applications is 9am on the 8th of March 2013.
Calls to this number will be charged at your local rate, mobiles may vary. Silver River Productions will use any information provided by you only for the purposes of selecting participants for the programme and will only share information with the broadcaster and any independent contractors involved in the programme. Unfortunately, we won't be able to answer all applicants individually.

It is not a book that you can read in one go. It should be treated as an encyclopaedia, although there are chapters that I found truly inspiring and could not stop reading... .read more.
